Leadership

I am a Mitchell County native. I am married to Jessica and we have two daughters Grace and Lida. I am passionate about my Savior and His Bride, the Church. I love spending time with my wife and daughters and being in the great outdoors. I love preaching the Word of God and gathering with Saints in worshiping our Savior.

I have been doing youth ministry at Grassy Creek since 2005. I served as full-time Associate/Youth Pastor until May 2017, when I stepped into my current part-time position of Associate/Youth Pastor. I have had the privilege of working with many wonderful people over that time. I enjoy seeing our youth grow deeper in their faith and use their talents to glorify God. I am married to Denise and we have two children, Austyn and Laurel. I am a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoy watching sports, reading and playing music.

I am a lifelong resident of Mitchell County. I am married to Sandy and we have one daughter, Tiffany. Sandy and I were married in 1985 and started attending Grassy Creek shortly after marriage. I love music, especially Southern Gospel, and have been directing the music since 1999. I consider it an honor to serve the Lord in this capacity and strive to bring joy, hope, and encouragement to the worship service through the music. I enjoy the outdoors, golfing, and spending time with Sandy in our Corvette and/or Motorcycle. 

I am honored and blessed to served as the Administrative Ministry Assistant of Grassy Creek Baptist Church.  I was born and raised in Marion, North Carolina.  I am married to Kevin Turner. Together, we have five children and six grandchildren. It is my desire to serve GCBC and this community in a way that shines the light of Christ and brings honor and glory to God.

I am a native of Mitchell County. Grassy Creek Baptist Church has been a part of my story from early on. I am excited to be able to serve in the young adult program. I truly feel like this is where God has led me. I love seeing the passion they have for digging deeper into the Word and growing closer to God. I am married to Crystal, and we have two adult children Kaitlyn and Hayden. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and doing a variety of outdoor activities. We love our church and we love serving the Lord. 

As a lifelong resident of this community and with a long family history inside Grassy Creek Baptist Church, it is a blessing to serve our mighty God along side the finest people I've ever met. I am married to Nicole. We have two kids, Charli and Dallin. We enjoy spending our time off together in the outdoors and doing ministry together.
