Connect with the savior and his saints
In a world of connections and relationships, I ask this question, “What is the most vital and vibrant relationship and connection in your life?” There is surely a long list of both in all our lives.
Relationships with family, friends, church, work. The list goes on and on. Some of these relationships and connections are healthy and some may be unhealthy.
Today I want to ask if you have ever made a connection with Jesus Christ and established a relationship with Him as Savior and Lord? This connection must be made through His redemptive work on the cross of Calvary. Jesus said in John 14 that He is “the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto Father, but by Me.” We must come to Him with a heart of repentance, turning away from sin and turning towards Christ. We must admit that we are a sinner (Romans 3:23), repent of that sin, and confess Jesus as Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9-10). Have you made that connection yet in your life?
Can you recall a time in your life where this salvation experience has happened?
After we have that relationship established we are to have a healthy relationship with a local assembly of believers (Hebrews 10:25). These relationships will allow us to be able to connect with fellow believers as we worship Jesus and work together to spread the Gospel to those who do not have Christ in their life or a church family in which to be a part.
