   CANDLELIGHT SERVICE
   Our candlelight service will be held on December 23rd at 7:00 pm.
   DEACON’S & WIVES DINNER
Today, the Deacon & Wives Dinner will have a catered dinner following the morning worship service at the Family Life Center. 
 
BUDGET
Please pick up a copy of the budget from the table in the front or  back of the church and review.  We will vote on this budget on Sunday, December 20th.  Slight change in the printed budget.  The funds designated for WAMY will go to the Mitchell County Baptist Association in the Baptist Men’s fund.
   
   TEACHER NEEDED
We need a teacher for Brenda Greer’s Sunday School class.  Please seek the Lord’s guidance to serve in this manner and notify David Shuford or the church office if you feel led and are willing to teach.
REMINDER
We do not require anyone to wear a mask, however, we do recommend that masks be worn when entering and leaving the building to help prevent the spread of the COVID19 virus.  Thank you for your consideration.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
During the winter months, inclement weather may cause us to change our regular services.  If this happens, we will send out a one call.  You may also check our Facebook page for updates.  We will keep these up to date so that you may have this information in a timely manner. 
2019 CONTRIBUTIONS
If you still want to make contributions to be credited for the 2020 tax year, these contributions will need to be submitted by December 27th.  Contribution reports will be made available by January 17th, 2020.  These will be located in the hallway leading to the educational building.  You may also send an email request to gcbcministry@gmail.com for an emailed copy.
2021 Theme
Our theme for 2021 will be “Who Am I”.  We will study about finding our identity in Christ.  Theme verse is 1 Peter 2:9-10.  We are looking forward to what God has in store for us as we study His word.
